Is Racing Advisable After Removal Of Fracture Cast?

My six year old son broke his left radius near the wrist ( buckle fracture) and will have his cast removed in a week. He is active in BMX racing and wants to get back on his bike as soon as the cast is removed. Is this advisable or should he wait a few more weeks?
