Is Reduced Sensitivity In The Vulva And Clitoris During Perimenopause A Normal Symptom?

I am perimenopausal and have less sensitivity in the vulva and clitoris. No other symptoms. I have found a passing reference to this online as a possible outcome of reduced oestrogen but it just doesn’t seem to be discussed despite being a pretty ordinary thing to have happening. Is this normal? If so, why does no one talk about it? Everything discussed everywhere online seems focused on whether intercourse is painful or uncomfortable or dryness whereas my problem is quite different but I would argue, just as annoying.
