Is Sever Headache And Dizziness After Using A Nail Gun Need Medical Attention?

My husband was doing some construction work earlier in the day and he used a nail gun without ear protection. The sound caused him to get dizzy momentarily and then he got a severe headache which has been with him for hours now. Should we be concerned?
