Is Short-term Prednisone Use Safe During BCG Treatment For Bladder Cancer, Or Is It Contraindicated?

I am 2 yrs into BCG treatments for bladder cancer. My last maintenance round was in June. Next will be in December. My neurologist started me on prednisone 20 mg for polymyalgia rheumatica. Is prednisone contraindicated with BCG. Is it ok for a short period and stop when time for my BCG treatment?
