Is Slight Brown Discharge After Radical Hysterectomy Normal?

Hi my partner had a radical hysterectomy just over a year ago after being diagnosed with cervical cancer. we went to see her consultant in march this year and was given the all clear but she still has to keep going back for the next two years every 6 months. We went out last night for the first time and she danced just a little bit. She went to the toilet this morning she had got a little bit of brown discharge on her pants. Please could you tell me if its anything to worry about or explain why this could have happen. Thank you but i am extremely worried that the cancer may have returned.
