Is Smoking Cannabis Safe After A Colonoscopy?

Hi, I had a colonoscopy this morning and am going to a party tomorrow. TI had "conscious" IV sedation during the procedure. They will probably be smoking cannabis tomorrow, so I was wondering how long the medications stay in your body and if it is safe to smoke within 24 hours after the procedure.
