Is Spotting With Hot Flushes Normal During Perimenopause?

started perimenopause at 47 with no periods until two months ago (now 55) when I spotted pink and two months later (today) spotted again pink. Lasted for only a minute. I went through the hot flashes, for 3 years at 47 and off and on until about 53. Is this normal?
