Is Stiff, Swollen And Painful Knee Post Dislocated Knee Cap A Cause For Concern?

I dislocated my knee cap about 3 months ago and it gradually got better. I am on the waiting list for an operation where they take some ligament and strap it across your knee to stop it popping out. Over the last weeks or so the knee has stiffened and I can't Ben, there is swelling on the knee and it is quite painful in certain positions. I am due to fly to Zurich tomorrow, will I be safe flying?
