Is Stomach Ache Symptom Of Appendicitis?

I've had a mild stomach ache for about 6 hours and now it's shifted to the area of my appendix (to the right of my stomach--left if you are facing me). It's not sharp and I don't feel it when I'm sitting down. Is this a warning of possible appendicitis?
