Is Surgery Advisable For Osteoporosis In Fingers?

I have osteoporosis in my fingers - 2 of my fingers done close to make a fist - I work full time doing heavy clerical, computer mostly typing - is surgery an option? I am 60 but my hands make me look like I m really much older and masculine. Suggestions...
