Is Surgery Advisable For Shooting Pain In Thumb Caused Due To Psoriatic Arthritis?

Hi. My name is Connie. I have psoriatic arthritis. the worst part of it is in my hands. my thumbs hurt so bad and i cannot move them very much without having terrible pain shooting through them. I wear a brace to keep me from moving them. Is there a surgery that will help me with that? It really gets unbearable at times. I take mobic and percoset but it only helps a little. Thanks....
