Is Surgery Essential For Macular Hole?

if i don t have surgery done for my macular hole, what will happen to my vision, will i go blind, will the hole continue to expand? I am not sure I want to have this extensive surgery, I can see well, my sight is just blurry from a far distant but I am okay with my glasses.
