Is Surgery Needed For Large Ovary?

sister (RN) just had an ultra sound. Very large, (Soccer Ball) mass on Ovary. C125 15. Will white count go up if she has Ovarian Ca. I have read these markers for Ca. may not be very affective. Will be having surgery next week. Patty
