Is Surgery The Only Option For The Blockage In Eustachian Tube?

Please type your query here...my 5 yr old daughter is now facing little hearing prob. she had 2/3 times puss formation & doc prescribed candibiotic ear drops. she got well very soon. very prone to cold,last one month noticed some hearing prob, did audiomectry test & found 40% hearing prob. acc to doc children usually have 30% hearing prob, but she has more. her austechian tube is blocked due to cold. docs are telling only operation is the remedy, not permanently. some glomate operation........is it the only way to recover? no such medicine van liquidify this fluid? need ur help sir. as a mother never want to do the operation...........please help.
