Is Swelling In Armpit Be Lymph Nodes?

I am a 41 year old woman and I have swelling in the frontal part of my armpit. It is significant enough to see with my arms raised or by my sides. It has been this way for over a month. Could this be lymph nodes? Should I schedule an appt with my doctor?
