Is Swelling In Brain After Having Skull Fracture Curable?

Yes a Family of mine was hit by a car and has a skull fracture with bleeding in brain. Dr. say she has a lot of swelling in brain. She vomits a lot and has just started to have seizures. Will she have seizures for the rest of her life or just till the swelling goes down?
