Is Swollen Throat,blocked Ear And Painful Eyes Sign Of Flu?

Hello there.

I;m sure I have the flu: I have chills, the right side of my throat is swollen, my right ear is blocked, my eyes hurt and I am incredibly tired but can't sleep.
Problem is, I thought the flu only lasted 3 days. This is the 4th morning and it;s worse than yesterday morning. I have been taking medicine, but will cease to do so.
Any tips?
