Is Taking Birth Control Safe When Diagnosed With Klippel Trenaunay Weber Syndrome?

Hi, I've been diagnosed with Klippel Trenaunay Weber Syndrome, but it is a very mild case. I am 23 years old, female, and otherwise in good health. Is it safe for me to go on birth control, or any form of contraceptive/ hormone therapy to prevent pregnancy?
