Is Taking Missed Althea Contraceptive Pill A Cause For Concern?

I ve missed two consecutive tablets. I know the instruction says discard whatever previous one you failed to drink and drink the most recent one and the one scheduled for that day. I still have more than 7 tabs left in the pack, too. But i don t know what came over me, I still took the first one I missed. Is there a side effect to overdosing? like a short term and a long term one? I ve been taking Althea for around 3 years now. thanks!
