Is Tampon Inside If Vagina Is Irritated, Tight And Blood Not Coming Out?

Hi.. Well this is very embarrising and i feel very stupid.
i dont remember if i took my tampon out. i dont see a string at all
and when i try to feel inside i cant cuz my vagina feels irritated, and tight.. and no blood is coming out. what does that mean??
