Is Tetanus Shot Needed After Being Pricked With A Needle Covered With Animal Urine?

My husband was removing carpet on a demo job when he thought he was stung by something. He looked down and had a sewing needle stuck about a half an inch into his arm, the carpet that was being removed had animal waste all over it *mostly urine* is a tetanus shot needed for this? Thanks
