Is The Severe Back Pain After A C- Section Normal?

i had a c-section on june 2nd and when i sleep i wake up with some bad rib/back pain is this normal if so when will it subside or how can i help the pain? I've had to sleep sitting up if i lay at all it's when the pain happens. I'm 28, 5'1 194lbs and normally a pretty healthy person. i'm breastfeeding. and really missing sleep
