Is There A Difference Between Novophane Anti-hair Loss Lotion And Minoxidil, And Does Novophane Actually Work For Postpartum Hair Loss?

Hi i am 32 years old female. Mother of two daughters. My hairs are generally not that good nor do they grow much. But i have been experiencing sever hair loss since the birth of my second born. She is now 15 months old but i have lost nearly 80% of my hairs and they are not stopping. I saw a dermatologist recently. She prescribed me Novophane anti hairloss lotion. Plus multivitamins. I want to know is there some difference in novophane and minoxidil? Because i read that mostly for hairgrowth minoxidil is prescribed. I m confused because the spray in quite expensive. Does it really works?
