Is there a (non-invasive) alternative to having an angiogram (assuming this is recommended for me)? I'm 57 with no real symptoms of heart disease, but it runs in the family (both parents had coronary-related deaths) and my fit, slim 60-year old brother has just had a stent inserted after an angiogram discovered a large blockage in one of his arteries. I'm seeing a cardiologist shortly to see if I need to worry (and undertake any medical procedures) ...
