Is There A Possibility For The Tampon Applicator To Remain Inside?

Hi! I think i ve left a cardboard tampon applicator inside me. I feel that I inserted the tampon with the applicator and while removing only the tampon came out. I think the applicator is still inside. I ve checked with my finger but I cant seem to locate it. I m really worried
