Is There A Relationship Between Salpingectomy And Ovulation?

i had salpingectomy 4 months ago,but since then i have been mensurating but i have not been noticing the ovulation mucus but keep on having very sharp pain on the side that is affected precisely the left tube was removed.my question is is there any relationship between salpingectomy and ovulation or could it be a complication?
