Is There A Way To Deal With A Middle Ear

Is there a way to deal with a middle ear infection at home? I can tell that's what's wrong, I've had them before, but I haven't got time to go to the doctor if I can deal with it at home, and a walk in this weather is only going to get me sick... er... sicker. is there a simple home remedy that could at least help with the hearing loss? I can deal with everything else, but the hearing has got to come back, I'm vision impaired, You can see how hearing loss would present a problem in, well... everything. Is there maybe something I can pick up at the walgreens three blocks away without going to the doctor 15 blocks away? Edit* did not know I had to pay for this, by the time I got an answer I wouldn't be able to afford any medication, my apologies, I'll find the answer maybe my parents remember it, this is a frequent thing from childhood
