Is There An Alternate For Lorazepam To Treat Congested Heart Failure?

my sister is on Lorazapam due to CHF. She has never taken serious drugs or antidepressants in her life and the side effect for the Lorazapam is: disorientation, speech impairment and unable to move limbs. Is there an alternative to Lorazapam/Atavan? that does NOT make her disoriented. granted, she has been prescribed this as she is going down and the prescription is: lORAZApam for anxiety so breathing is easier; if that does not work and she goes into major gasping, then they prescrive oxycodone. Alas, she is allergic to morphine, codeine and other such drugs. Any suggestions? Many thanks, as I am trying to make her as comfortable as possible for this last stretch of her life.
