Is There Another Medicine I Can Take Instead Of Zoloft.

Is there another medicine I can take instead of Zoloft. I was previously on it and gained a lot of weight. My doctor then put me on Lexapro but this was not suitable for my depression. Cried an awful lot. I was put back on Zoloft and have gained more weight. I am 61yrs of age and suffer from severe depression, acute anxiety and panic attacks diagnosed eleven years ago due to work stress. since retired. I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabeties. I also have osteo arthritis which makes exercise difficult.
