Is There Any Chance Of Skin Rashes From Tobacco?

Is it possible for someone to get severe skin rashes from tobacco? My husband uses Grizzly snuff and he has a horrible rash all over his body. He has eliminated almost all food from his diet (only eats rice) and this has been going on for months. What can cause this??
