Is There Any Cure For Leg Cramps Which Occur During

Is there any cure for leg cramps which occur during the sleeping hours? Can't seem to shake them by using quinine water(2 oz. before evening meal), 6 12 oz. water daily, 1/2 banana daily, 1 hour exercise(walking, fitness center activity) 1/2 hr lower body exercise upon awaking. I am Type 2 diabetic and 84 year old male. Any remedies?
