Is There Anything I Can Do To At Least Curb

Is there anything I can do to at least curb the back (ribs) pain I'm experiencing brought on by my second dose of Bonieva? When I sneezed I thought every rib would explode! Tried heat wrap - didn't work. Tried Excedrine - didn't work. Thinking of ice packs but don't hold out much hope. How long does this typically last? From my readings some people haven't been able to recoup from the side effects but they ha been on this "medication" for an extended period of time.
