Is There Chances For The Toe Nail To Grow Back?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here..Hi! The other day I stubbed my toe and my whole nail came off. It did not bleed much, but needless to say it was a bit tender at the time, but it's been a week now and it's not too bad. I heard that "most" toenails grow back, but sometimes they don't if the nail bed is damaged. I have a few questions:

1. How would I know if my nail bed is damaged?

2. Should I wear a bandage at all times and put antibacterial cream on it, or should I let it air out and only wear a bandage when I'm out and about.

3. How long will it take to grow back?

4. Can I go swimming with no toenail?
