Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Is there really a doctor there? I am a 42 year old mum who is not under that much stress. my mother has angina and has had problems with her heart since she was 37. She has had 2 stents since. I am now experiencing chest pains, well more chest pressure. It has been going on for some time but i just don't have the time to go and see someone I've decided tomorrow i will go. But i have drunk a bottle of wine tonight to give me the courage to face what might be. I have to drop my kids off at 8.15 and I HAVE to be back home by 17.00 to collect them, otherwise i don't know what will happen as they are only 6 & 8. And i'm currently cooking 18 christmas cake presents to make sure that my kids have things to give to their teachers. I'm not whako. I just care that's all. And i'm trying to hide any differences from my kids as we've always cooked for the teachers.
I also have pains in my elbows and my arms, and the dull chest 'suffocation' goes through to my back. Ihave a pain in my right arm that isn't due to injury.
I have experienced numbness in arms and legs during the night and a neurologist has confirmed it is not to do with my head. My Chron's disease doctor has also done many tests and it's not to do with that either. Ihave had blurred vision today and felt very lightheaded. But I knew i had to cook so i opened a bottle of wine and somehow i feel better, although i still have the chest 'restrictions' and my arms stil hurt. There you go. Make what you think of that. I'm going to the hospital tomorrow and provided they can see me so i can get home before 17.00hrs i'm ok.
