CT CHEST W/O CONTRAST

FINDING: There is bilateral emphysema and bronchial wall thickening. There is bilateral lower lobe scarring. There is no pleural fluid or parenchymal consolidation. There is an ill-defined nodular density within the right upper lobe adjacent to the minor fissure that was not seen previously and measures 9 x 6 mm. Additional ill-defined, patchy density is present within the right lower lobe which is also a new finding. These findings could be inflammatory. Punctate bilateral lung nodules are unchanged.

The thyroid gland is unremarkable.

The thoracic aorta is calcified and mildly ectatic, unchanged. There is coronary artery calcification. The heart is not enlarged.

Scans of the upper abdomen reveal a stable right adrenal adenoma.

There is degenerative change of the spine. The L1 compression fracture with wedge deformity is again seen.
