Is This May Sound Really Trivial But I'm Worried I

Is this may sound really trivial but I'm worried I have a liver problem (my dad harps liver cancer). When I sit or drive my car I have an 'uncomfy' feeling under my ribs in the right side. It's not a pain by any means just feels weird. I guess it always has done. I also hate it being touched, when my hubby cuddles me in bed I have to move his hand to my hip so it's away from the area. I hate it, it feels horendous (once again not pain just not nice).
I saw the doctor the other day as still have a gap in my upper abdominals after childbirth nearly 5 yrs ago and when lifting, it's what I do I'm a personal trainer) it feels as if my innards are bulging out. I was a bit daft really as forgot to mention this odd feeling I get. It definitely feels like it's getting worse. The dr has referred me for and abdominal ultrasound and wondered if they'd be able to see anything else untoward while they were at it
