Is This Normal Of Getting Dizziness And Feeling Sick With Migraines?

I suffer with infrequent migranes that start at the base of my head and the pain goes up to the back of my eyes. yesterday it lasted pretty much all day and I was really sensetive to light. Today the headache side has gone but I now feel really lightheaded and sick, is this normal?
