Is Throbbing Pain In Head, Post An Orgasm Is Just Stress Related?

I'm a 52 year old female, and right after I had an orgasm, my head felt like it was going to split open. Literally. It started from the base of my neck, and then exploded into my head. Throbbing horribly. It lasted that way for about 5 minutes. Is it stress? Or is there something else going on?
