Is Tonsillectomy Recommended For Enlarged Infected Tonsils And Sinusitis?

Hi.. My query is regarding tonsilectomy... I am getting very frequent attacks of cold n cough and infected tonsils (more than 7 - 8 times a year). This impairs my general well being and fitness. I also suffer from Sinusitis, and am on Nasal Spray medication for the same. Please advise if I can go ahead with tonsilectomy, as many doctors have commented about my tonsils being highly enlarged.
