Do you have to have a brain MRI to diagnosis Alzheimer's before any treatment for early disease? My father and grandfather both died of the disease, my grandfather was in his early 70s, and now my 63 yo brother has been having short-term memory loss for about 3 years and it is getting worse, but not affecting his functioning.
