It Is 10 Days After Starting To Take A Prescribed

It is 10 days after starting to take a prescribed z-pak for assumed strep. I only have a slight sore throat now. So, it seemed to help. I do still see a couple small white patched remaining on one tonsil. They have reduced in size in the past couple of days. My questions: Since the Z-Pak seemed to help, should I expect continued progress, even though I am on the 1oth day after I started taking the Z-Pak?? Should the remaining couple of white patches on the one tonsil eventually disappear??
