It Started As Pain In My Lower Back (I Have

It started as pain in my lower back (I have osteoarthritis there). Then my right leg began to hurt to the point where now I can't straighten up and put any weight on it. The pain radiates down my leg to my knee. Had an ultrasound done which showed that my lymph node in my right groin are is swollen. What would cause the swelling and extreme pain?
