It Took Approximately A Year Before My Gall Stones Were

It took approximately a year before my gall stones were diagnosed and my gall bladder removed in 2011. I had no stone in the bile duct. During that time my trapezoid muscles, pancreas and gall bladder became painfully inflamed. My surgeon told me there were so many stones the bile backed up into my system causing this inflammation. I don't understand the relationship between the gall bile and my back muscles. Please explain how this could happen.
