Its Been 12 Months Since I Had The Lap Band

Its been 12 months since I had the lap Band and 6 months since I had to have it sewn into place because it was slipping around. I no longer have the band tight because of all the issues I had. Could this have caused damage? I have serious stomach issues now. I didn't prior to the band.
