Its Been A Month Almost I Have Been Suffering From

Its been a month almost I have been suffering from throat irritation, earlier I thought it is due to cold and cough and took azimax for 5 days but things has not got changed. Very recently someone has advised me to take Montague lc one tab daily. And this works and my coughing frequency got reduced but I realized once I stopped taking this pills , my coughing and irritation gets reoccurred .
What to do? Have I allergic to something or need other treatment.
Note- I am habituated of chewing raw Tobacco.
