I've Had Diarrhea No Fever For Last 6 Days. Tonight

I've Had diarrhea no fever for last 6 days. Tonight stomach cramps vomiting and a 102 fever. I went in this am to dr before the fever vomiting started so he told me to take pepto and do a stool sample Monday if not better. Should I be worried about a bigger problem.
