I've Accidentally Given My 2 Year Old Son 5ml Of

I've accidentally given my 2 year old son 5ml of piriton for his chicken pox whereas the instructions say I should've given him 2.5ml. I gave him 2.5ml at 11:30 this morning but got the dosage confused with calpol at 20:00 this evening. He's not had anymore in between. It seems to be helping him sleep...is it going to cause any harm?
