Ive Been Checking My Blood Pressure For The Last Three

Ive been checking my blood pressure for the last three days. the average reading has been 168/113 the lowest reading has been 142/95. Currently taking Hydroclorathiazide 25mg. For the last month or so, Havent really had an appetite. i have to force myself to eat. My mom thinks it thryoid related, going by her experience because she has hyperthyroidism. Are the two related in any way?
