I've Been Coughing Since April And It's July Now. It's

I've been coughing since April and it's July now. It's getting worse and I've been taking cough syrup but it hasn't been helping. Every time I cough, it's causing my stomach and chest to hurt and occasionally it's led to me vomiting. Also I don't know if this is related but last weekend, I had a fever from Saturday evening to Monday evening. I was wondering if there was anything to help this?
