I've Been Diagnosed With Chlamdhia And My Boyfriend Tested Negative.

I've been diagnosed with chlamdhia and my boyfriend tested negative. I know I haven't been with anyone else in four years but he says he hadn't cheated. I get regularly tested and never had anything come up postitve. In 15 years. Is it possible for my boyfriend to be a carrier but not actually have chlamdhia yet?
